Connecting research, industry and practice at the Sutcliffe Play Home Show

7 – 9 September 2026

Deputy Director of the Outdoor Play Research Centre Dr Paul McCrorie joined Sutcliffe Play’s Home Show in Pontefract from 7–9 September, to introduce the work of the centre and explore how research can support the development of better play environments.

Paul provided a research update using the BCPS data and used LEGO to inspire participants during a creative workshop focusing on the different factors that influence children’s opportunities for outdoor play.
