Bryony Longdon

Research Fellow

Bryony’s research focuses on promoting children's mental health and wellbeing through practical, evidence-based interventions. Much of her work involves designing and evaluating school-based programmes, with a particular interest in how schools can support positive mental health for all children. Bryony worked as part of the Project Playtime team, led by Prof. Dodd, from 2023 – 2026, exploring how improved opportunities for play at school can benefit children's wellbeing and mental health. She has previously worked on several large-scale national trials examining anti-bullying and teacher-classroom management interventions. Bryony is passionate about generating research that can make a meaningful difference to children's lives.
